The depth of field is the distance in front of and beyond the subject it should appear in focus. It has an important significants to entertainment. It has been used in art. Movies or cartoons. Works in horror movies too. Anyway, the D.O.F increase in distance from the camera. The width increases with the distance. The exposure is what we have control over and also the blur.

Wacky as it is here is one of the students listening to probably music or something else.
Shadowing but gentle. The warm touch of a tree during the fall season as it grows old and dies to be reborn in the warm spring air. Such as the big tree to be guarding something spiritual. Such as the Big Tree where life is harmonic.
When you set it 1/60 and f4.0 the image is darkened and exposed. When you have it on auto the image is edited automatically to fit the sight of seeing lightened up and exposed.
